1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of WaslMail (https://waslmail.org) and the Raddad AI email assistant (collectively, the "Service"), provided by WaslMail ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" includes that organization.
2. Description of Service
WaslMail is an AI-powered email productivity platform. The Service connects to your Gmail account and uses the Raddad AI assistant to help you read, organize, summarize, prioritize, draft, and send emails, and to automate email workflows you configure. Raddad's outputs are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided to assist you, not to replace your judgment. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
3. User Accounts and Responsibilities
- You must own, or be duly authorized to access, any Gmail account you connect to the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
- You are responsible for complying with all laws and with Google's terms and policies in connection with your use of Gmail.
4. Google Connected Accounts
By connecting a Gmail account, you authorize WaslMail to access your Gmail data through Google OAuth 2.0, strictly within the scopes you approve and for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy. You may revoke this access at any time through your Google Account permissions (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions) or within the WaslMail dashboard, and the revocation will take effect for future access. Your use of Gmail remains governed by your agreement with Google, and you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with Google's terms and policies.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or any unlawful, deceptive, or misleading messages;
- Harass, threaten, abuse, defame, or harm any person, including by using Raddad to generate such content;
- Engage in any illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive activity, or violate any applicable law or regulation;
- Distribute malware, phishing, or other harmful code;
- Circumvent sending limits, authentication, security, or usage restrictions, or attempt to gain unauthorized access;
- Reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or otherwise exploit the Service without our prior written consent; or
- Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
We may, in our sole discretion and without prior notice, suspend or terminate access to the Service for any violation of this Policy.
6. AI Disclaimer
Raddad is an artificial intelligence system. Its output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate, and it may generate content that does not reflect your views. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any draft, summary, label, or message before you send or act on it. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from your use of, or reliance on, AI-generated content. Do not use the Service as a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, or other advice.
7. Subscription, Payments, and Refunds
Certain features of the Service may be offered under paid subscription plans. [Placeholder: pricing, billing frequency, payment processor, automatic renewal, taxes, upgrade/downgrade rules, cancellation, and refund policy to be specified.] Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices upon reasonable notice.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights, title, and interest in and to your emails, content, and data ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely as necessary to provide and secure the Service. You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license. The Service, including all software, features, design, trademarks, and the Raddad assistant, is owned by WaslMail and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
9. Data and Privacy
Our collection and use of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, available at https://waslmail.org/privacy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You are responsible for reviewing the Privacy Policy.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or one hundred United States dollars (US $100). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WaslMail and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, Your Content, any message you send, or your violation of these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of any third party, including Google.
12. Term and Termination
These Terms apply while you use the Service. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, without liability, for any breach of these Terms or of Google's policies, for abusive or unlawful use, or to protect the integrity of the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time and disconnect your Gmail account. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.
13. Modifications to the Service and Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes to the Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which WaslMail is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
